Diane Towler-Green M.B.E.

Appointed Head Dance coach of the arena

Diane has been the teaching at the Arena for over 26 years. During her skating career she achieved goals which have rarely been bettered in the world of ice dancing today.  Four time World Champion Diane has taught countless pupils from beginers in grade classes to British champions, international competition winners, European and World Championship competitors.
She is one of only five ice dance Master coaches in Great Britain

Roland Hailston  

Appointed Head Figure Coach of the arena

Roland has been a professional ice skater for 22 years. He has toured with Holiday on Ice as a soloist, adagio pair and comedy skater. He taught for two years in France and Germany before joining us here at the Arena. Roland was British junior pairs champion and runner-up in senior pairs championships and an international pair skating competitor.

Phillipa Towler-Green

Phillipa has been teaching here at the ice arena for 2 years now and has already established herself as a top coach.  Alongside her coaching she is also a National and International competitior on the Senior Ice Dance Circuit and has competed in the European and World Skating Championships.
All the experience that Phillipa gains from these competitions she puts into her coaching.

Paulette Mitchell-Smart

After gaining the second class test in all areas of ice skating, Paulette went on to join Holiday on Ice and toured with them for many years.

 James Phillipson

James has been teaching at the arena for about a year now and he has already had many pupils gain National level tests in a short space of time.  Alongside his coaching James is also a National level competitor on the Senior ice dance circuit placing as high as 4th in Great Britain.  He has gained much experience from competing nationally and internationally which he tries to pass on to his pupils.

Sarah Christou

Sarah competed at a younger age in lots of amateur competitions, then moved on to having a career touring with professional ice show companies such as Holiday On Ice and The Rustelli's.  This gave Sarah the opportunity to travel around the World, through this she gained alot of experience and many happy memories.  Now she has moved on to the coaching which she enjoy's with a passion.

Candice Towler-Green

Candice is a new coach to the ice arena, she has competed for many years as an ice dancer and has now decided to coach.  She has gained alot of experience competing in Great Britain and in many countries abroad she is hoping to pass on what she has learnt to her pupils.
